Where They Are

 

Recently, I was talking with one of my friends, and he said something that I would consider very good advice.

"It's all about meeting people where they are."

 

 

 

This is a comment that is not often said, and one not often practiced. We all seem to want people to either be somewhere, be someone or be consistently something, when in truth we are not showing them the grace that Jesus has shown us.

 

 

So basically, Jesus meets us where we are [broken, selfish, knocked down by our own pride...], so why shouldn't we seek to go to others wherever they are at? This is how we reach those other, unknown, normal people like us.
